Our little Sim Sim has now started to say her ABCs... She goes from A and then stops at H. Not sure how and where she picked this up, but yesterday she just said the alphabets till H, while we were driving to go get Simone some ice cream. When she first said it, my father and I just looked at each other to see, if we really did hear what we just heard. A few seconds later she said it again.
Two weeks in India and she has started to say so many words in Hindi. Everyday she is picking up at least 2 to 3 Hindi words. She now knows some of the following words that come to mind - ninni, soja, puri, kya hua, kon hai, and pani.
She also loves the dogs here. We have a golden retriever named Masti and our neighbor has a St. Bernard puppy named Dennis. The first thing Simone does every morning when she wakes up is to climb about 20 stairs on her own and go into my father's room and wake him up and ask him to take her outside so she can see the dogs. She gives them so many dog biscuits during the day that the dogs are getting lazy.
She so loves the outside that she even mumbles outside in her sleep.
