My baby #1 turns 2.5 years old

Hi Sim Sim.... you turned 2.5 years old last weekend. We had a blast celebrating it. First, we did our Sunday morning ritual of going to Farmer's market. This time though we went to another market so you could go on a pony ride and pet some farm animals. Normally, every sunday we also get a chocolate croissant and a balloon. While at our normal Farmer's market you also jam with this reggae artist for children. It is a lot of fun and wow what fun for you on a Sunday morning.

At this Farmer's market you were initially afraid of touching the bunnies but once you got hold of one, you wouldn't let go of them. You were holding 2 at a time.

You love your baby brother but you still smack him everyday. We tell you that once he is older he is going to push you around and at that point mummy and daddy will not do anything. Mummy and Daddy absolutely love how you read books now. You just pick a book and start to read. Often you say the sentence verbatim on the page and other times you make up the story as you go along. We are amazed at your memory. You remember things from 6 months ago.

For now you are mummy little girl.. and she loves it very much. You want to share everything with mummy now a days. Its more like whatever mummy has you want to wear. Yesterday you were jumping on the bed and I said don't jump as you will fall down and get hurt. Your response was, "why because you only have 1 simone". I was surprised and I wanted to laugh.. but you are right.. mummy only has 1 girl!!! She is very precious to mummy!
