Barcelona had an unexpected bonus for Simone and Daddy. It has a giant central square called Plaza Catalunya that is *filled* with pigeons! Simone squealed with delight at seeing them, not knowing which way to run. Daddy bought some pigeon food and sat down with Simone to feed the overfed but greedy pigeons. Simone loved it, she liked it when the pigeons came near but got scared when they came too close. Daddy showed her how to attract them close to her, and how to get them to eat out of your hand(although Simone was not ready for that).
