A wonderful day with Simone

Dear Simone,

It is so much fun spending time with you. I absolutely love it (most days) and it is a joy andprivilege to be able to spend so much time with you. You have become this really adorable cute little toddler, who is very outgoing, polite and very talkative.

As we were leaving for your gym class today, a woman came into the elevator and you asked her,"what's your name?". She was a little taken back but she responded and she asked you the same and you responded, "my name is simmmooone".

We got a little late for the gym so I decided to not take you to it as we were almost 15 minutes late for a 45 min class. Instead we went to Whole Foods to do some grocery shopping. Today was the first time you refused to sit in the cart and said you wanted to walk. It was so much fun seeing you in the store as you kept picking up all sorts of groceries and adding them to the cart. You tossed in some beef hot dogs, some tofu, some crackers. It was really cute to just see you puttering around.

In the afternoon after I came home from swimming, I see the cutest sight. I see Rosa vacuumingthe living room and right next to her is you vacuuming with your little play vacuum. I wanted to take a picture of that but as soon as you saw me pick up the camera you ran over wanting to see it.

Later in the afternoon we made some homemade muffin pizzas. You have become quite the star, you love to have your videos taken. You and mommy have been doing a cooking series onYoutube where we are showing parents how to cook healthy food for children. You get better and better with each episode. We did episode 6 today.

In the evening we walked over to the library to return some books and on the way you were teaching mummy how to cross the road. When we got there we went to the children's section as always and picked up a whole bunch of books. You promptly walked over to the check out desk and gave your books to be checked out.

We came home and you said you were tired but you still wanted to read your usual 3 books but today honey you were so tired that you fell asleep in the middle of the first book. You could barely stay awake.
